Starcraft, the original, is such an incredible game. It came out 13 years ago, and even today has one of the biggest fan bases of any game.
How big? Check this out:
15,000 people packed in that arena. Starcraft is so huge in Korea, that even girls play it. I’m not talking like a few girls here and there. It’s like more than 50% of the girls over there play.
The bar could not be higher for Starcraft 2. But this is Blizzard and they execute. If they execute on this, there will be huge affiliate marketing and fan site potential for Starcraft 2.
